Christianity and Science: The Roots of Our Disconnect

In this essay I want to discuss the world from a scientific perspective. This is unfamiliar territory for many who have been trained to become pastors. In fact, our training tends to approach the world from a biblical perspective. These perspectives are indeed compatible, for science is a legitimate but limited way of discovering truth. Our concern with science as Evangelical Christians has more to do with the false presuppositions or generalization often found in the scientific community than with the discipline itself.
